Steven E. Tillman, 60, of Lincoln, NE, July 21, 1963-January 26, 2024

Steven E. Tillman, 60, of Lincoln, NE, passed away January 26, 2024. He was born July 21, 1963 in Lincoln, and adopted by Ernest “Bud” and Christiane “Chris” Tillman. Steven was a graduate of Ashland-Greenwood High School and Dana College.

Most recently, Steve worked for Frontier Harley-Davidson as a Motorcycle Safety Instructor. Steve was an avid motorcycle rider who recently rode his Harley-Davidson Limited to Fairbanks, Alaska. His special interests were music, history, cooking, and entertaining friends. Steve loved all Nebraska sports, most especially when surrounded by friends.

Steve is survived by his wife, Becky (Bowen); daughter, Alecia and her partner Dustin; granddaughter, River; sister, Teresa (Buddy) Brown; brother-in-law, Hugh (Sharon) Bowen; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Christiane Tillman.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Denton Legion, 7226 Lancaster Ave, Denton, NE.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Steven’s memory to Lincoln Animal Ambassadors. This organization addresses the root causes of animal homelessness in Lincoln and surrounding areas.  They assist pets through an income-based pet food bank and a low cost spay/neuter program which are two leading causes of animal homelessness.
