Ronald Roy Blow, 79, of Lincoln, NE passed away August 20, 2026. He was born November 6, 1946 in Livermore, CA to Clyde and Loretta Blow.
Ron worked on telephone poles for NPPD in York and later worked for Kroy Industries as a lineman and a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy. He loved his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing the role of Santa for children all year long, as they would say he looked just like him. Ron also enjoyed his westerns, loved his dogs (Marlee and Nala), attending Great Plains Community Church and food. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Blow; son-in-law, Nia J. McCray; and granddaughter, Aylecia Starr Lawrence.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE.
