Patricia Louise O’Malley, 85, of Lincoln, NE passed away July 30, 2026. She was born February 11, 1941 in Kansas City, MO to Johnnie and Carolyn (Gunther) Eifert.
Patricia worked as a Teacher for Public Schools in Tampa, Florida; Albin, WY; Denver, CO; Waverly, NE; and Lincoln, NE. She later served as a Director of Court Reporting at Lincoln School of Commerce and Parks College in Tucson, AZ. She completed her work life in Lincoln as a Realtor. She was a sharp shooter with a weapon, but the hobbies she enjoyed most were painting and arts and crafts. In her younger years she played the piano and was an avid bowler for a bit. She enjoyed redecorating all the different houses she lived in over the years and could tile with the best of them. She spent her retirement years managing her Army daughters household for twenty years, helping with multiple moves over the years. Her gardens are and were always a work of art for the hummingbirds and butterflies. She prided herself on staying fit and never looking her age while enjoying life thoroughly.
She and her sister were as thick as thieves throughout their life and they set a high bar for sibling love and care. It was a pleasure to be around and see for those who knew her well.
She loved her family and she lived life with a smile and will want her family and friends to go on doing the same knowing the light is always shining.
She is survived by her sister Vickie Kopp (Joe) of Lincoln, NE. Her daughters, Bonnie Norris (John) of Casper WY, and Caroline O’Malley, of Lincoln, NE; (continue listing: relation, first and last name, of City, State). Her nephew Joe Kopp (Meagan) and their daughter Charlotte. Her six grandchildren: Ashley Schmidt (Adam), Tim Tschacher, Weldon Tschacher (April), Emma Blades (Joel), JR Tschacher (Ashley), Teagan Tschacher (Sarah) and her great grandchildren Eli, Kye, Cora, Jewliet, Holden, Eleni. She is also survived by two grand dogs and two grand kitties that will miss her dearly.
Preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Carolyn.
Instead of Memorials to the family, she would have loved to see people donate to a cause dear to them in her honor, but most of all to remember her with a smile and some warmth.
