Melissa is survived by husband Bradley Geiger, children Francisco Diaz Jr., Michael Diaz, Anthony Eckert, Ajay Bertschinger, Amber Bertschinger and grandchildren Caitlin Eckert, Elijah Bertschinger, Josiah Welch, Francisco Diaz the third, Sebastian Diaz, and Andes Diaz.Parents Karl W. Eckert (Diane) and Cheryl E. Krueger, and sisters Karla E. Smith and Cindy Nyberg (Tracy) as well as several nieces and nephews. She wasceded in death by grandparents Joseph H Snowden and Rhoda Phillips Snowden, Gladys B. Snowden, Arthur William Eckert and Nellie Minez Eckert, great grandmother Belle D. Wood and great Aunt Mildred S. Brown. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245t N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE.
