Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.  Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.

Mavis JoAnn Webb was born on January 18, 1940 on a farmstead just outside of Beresford, SD. She passed on September 8, 2024 at the Monarch in Lincoln, NE with her two daughters by her side.

She lived an adventurous life traveling the United States and holding a variety of jobs.  At the age of 38, she married Dennis Webb and moved to Palmyra. Both daughters were born there. There was not a job this woman would not take on to support her family. She later moved to Lincoln to help care for her grandchildren.  She faced many health trials but always carried a positive attitude. She had an encouraging remark for every  person she met. She made a difference in so many people’s lives with her words.

She is proceeded in death by her brothers, Roger, Darrel and Leon Hedeen, and her parents Minnie and Leonard Hedeen. She is survived by her sister Marla Henderson of Centerville, SD, Daughters Jody Webb of Lincoln and Denise Haggadone of Rhinelander, WI, her son-in-law Shawn Frede of Lincoln and grandchildren Derek Webb, Steven Frede and Emilee Haggadone.
