Marilyn Jean Patterson, 71, of Lincoln, NE, passed away January 6, 2023. She was born February 20, 1951 in rural Barneston, NE, to John Clarence and Velda Robena (McCown) Patterson. Marilyn is survived by her sons, Troy (Heidi) Patterson and Tony Patterson (Rebekah Reighard), all of Lincoln, NE, six grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers, John (Dorothy) Patterson, of Sun City, AZ, Mark (Ursula) Patterson, of Washington, Clarence (Olga) Patterson, of Kearney, NE, David (Deb) Patterson, of Glenwood, IA, sister, Iris (Bruce) Aughe, of Lincoln, NE, sister-in-law, Jolene Patterson, of Lincoln, NE. Along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.Preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Karen and Beverly, and brothers, Roger and Bart.Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245 N. 27 Street, Lincoln, NE. Private family Inurnment will be held at a later date at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, NE. Memorials to the family for future designation.
