text-align: left Libor Francis Fraacute ňa died in his home in Lincoln, Nebraska, at age 85 at 2:45am on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. text-align: left He was born January 29, 1937, and baptized February 2, 1937, in Mělčany, which is in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, a place of about 500 people south of Brno. Liborrsquo s mother was Marie Fraacute ňovaacuteand his father was Vincenc Fraacute ňa. text-align: left In 1969, Libor, then 32, found a way to escape communism, making his way to Austria and eventually New York City. In time, he established a successful career in electrical engineering, working in California, Texas and abroad. The majority of his career was spent designing off shore platforms. text-align: left On June 23, 1974, Libor married Alicia Sanchez in Las Vegas, Nevada and they have a daughter, Vanessa. text-align: left Libor enjoyed spending time with his familyespecially his granddaughters and enjoyed connecting with family back home in the Czech Republic. Today, the majority of his family lives in Mělčany, outside of Brno. text-align: left Libor was a strong man with a humble heart, someone who persevered as an American immigrant and held great love for the United States of America and the opportunities it provided. text-align: left Libor had two brothers, Jaroslav and Zdeněk. Jaroslav died in 2017. Zdeněk, with his son and grandson, made the trip to the United States to be with family and attend Libors funeral. Jaroslav and his wife Bohumila have three children: son, Jaroslav Fraacute ňa, daughter, Alena Ryscaron avaacute , and son, Radek Fraacute ňa.
