Larry E Hubbard Sr., 80, of Lincoln, passed away August 3, 2025. Born on February 9, 1945, to Claude and Nellie (Mullins) Hubbard in Marion, Indiana.
Larry grew up in Tennessee where he helped his family out by working on a tobacco farm. He moved to Lincoln in 1969 for a job opportunity. He met the love of his life, Paula in 1970, married in 1971, and were married for 54 years before Larry passed. He worked 29 years and retired from Nebraska State Department of Roads. Larry’s favorite hobbies included hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. Larry loved his family whole-heartedly, and treasured time spent with his 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife Paula of 54 years, children Tereasa and Larry Jr, both of Lincoln, 7 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Claude and Nellie Hubbard, brother Lester Hubbard, sister Kathy Moore, and grandson Zachary Eugene Hubbard.
