Goodbye Janet

It never was OK, you know
When Will went home ahead
But She smiled and rocked her babies
Filled her life with them instead
But her broken heart never completely healed
The hole he left was large
Daily she battled her physical pain
She grew weary and the road was hard
She’d made her peace with God above
Thanked him for a life well lived
Said as much as I love all of you—
I believe I’ve given all that I can give
So he came down, grabbed Janet’s hand
Said, “It’s OK—I’ll bring you home
So she bade the babies and kids good-bye
Traded her pain for wings and didn’t go alone.

Caleb, Katie and Addison – I am so sorry! Mom went way too soon. But she is whole now and without pain. Let the good times and laughs carry you through this time. Love you all!

So very sad to hear of Janet’s passing. We met each other in the early ’80’s. From there we made many memories.
My heart goes out to her family and her other friends.
Rest easy in true peace my friend.
