James Ray loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his family. Born April 9 1965 to James Ray Sr. and Lavern Ray (Maxwell), he grew up in St. Louis, MO. There he met and married his answered prayer, Reshell Moore. They moved to Lincoln in 1988, and have called Nebraska home ever since. They had five children in three years! He was tremendously proud to be a father, laughing at the odds of having twins and the a single in between. He worked several jobs throughout his time in Lincoln, but his most proud occupation was with Nelnet in service to vetrans and the disabled. Notable achievements were completing his CDL certification with his son, Jonathan, and getting to be a recognized graduate with his daughter, Rosalind. background-image: initialbackground-position: initialbackground-size: initialbackground-repeat: initialbackground-attachment: initialbackground-origin: initialbackground-clip: initial James loved music, singing, reading, and his church family.
