Helmut Theo Bossert, 85, of Lincoln, NE, passed away October 23, 2025. He was born December 11, 1939, in Mannheim, Germany, to Jakob and Elisabeth (Streibinger) Bossert.
Helmut was a Veteran of the United States Army, a member of Christ Lincoln Church, Hillcrest Country Club, and Prairie Life. He worked as primary maintenance for McDonald’s.
He is survived by his wife, Margalean; daughter, Michelle Furby; grandchildren, John (Jordyn) McCave III and Mason Furby; great granddaughter, Lennon McCave; and brother, Egon (Lois) Reisel.
Preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Timothy Furby.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 am Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Christ Lincoln Church, 4325 Sumner Street, Lincoln, NE.

Helmut and his wife have been very long term friends. We learned of his passing with deep regret and he will definitely be remembered. Our memories of many good times will remain. We send heartfelt condolences to Margo and the family.
