Harold Kay Laessig, 70, of lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018. Everybody called him Kay. He was born on March 30, 1948 to Keith and Genevieve Gen Laessig in Salina, Kan. Kay was the nicest guy anyone ever met and he adored his family, especially his kids, grandkids, and — above all — his wife Debbie.Kay is survived by his sons, Darron Laessig (Rhonda) of Lincoln, Jason Laessig (Shelly) of Lincoln, and Gavon Laessig of Brooklyn, N.Y.his beloved grandchildren, Ella and Owen Laessig of Lincoln, Foster and Calder Laessig of Lincoln, and Amanda Stensgar of Savannah, Ga.brother, Jay Laessig (Peggy) of Wichita, Kan.and mother-in-law Bettye Gustus of Lyons, Kan. In addition to these, he also leaves behind many extended family members and countless friends. Kay wasceded in death by his cherished wife Debbieand parents Keith and Gen Laessig.A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at Sheridan Lutheran in Lincoln, Neb. Visitation will be an hour beforehand and a luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to support youth ministries and activities.
