To Daryl’s family, my name is Lana Kemp. I was a neighbor of Daryl’s back in 2010-2013, over on 17th and “H” streets. We had many wonderful conversations. He was a wonderful friend and I will miss him dearly. Life has taken me quite far from Lincoln, Nebraska, but Daryl will always be one of my great memories. My condolences to you and may God give you peace and comfort during your time of remembrance.

Daryl, you were very much loved. You made the world a better place for a lot of people. Although you were blind you sure didn’t live life that way. You could see better than most. Your vision was love and that’s how you lived your life. Jeff and I will always hold fond memories of you. All the laughter you shared with us will always be cherished. Your in our hearts forever.
It’s so sad that a man with a heart of gold has to be called home by the Lord so early. You were blind yet repeatedly helped people in need. There wasn’t anything that you wouldn’t do for people. You had so much love to give. Jeff and I both miss you terribly. Fly high my friend!
