Darla Dee Christensen, 58 of Lincoln, passed away February 28, 2022. She was born June 3, 1963 in Lynch, NE to Richard and Betty (Pinkerman) Christensen.Darla worked as a bartender. She was known for her love of animals and gardening. She took pride in her garden and taking care of her, what seemed like, millions of houseplants.She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Christensen (Cody McKenny) of Pleasant Dale, NEgrandson Cypher McKennyboyfriend, Melvin Whitlatch, of Lincoln, NEMelvinrsquo s daughters, Amber and Amanda Whitlatch, her children, Hannah, Evelyn and Tidussister, Marina Eiler, of Orsquo Neill, NEand many nieces and nephews.ceded in death by her parents, brothers, Larry Christensen and Dick Christensen, sisters, Debbie Christensen and Donna Christensen.Funeral Service 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245 N. 27 Street, Lincoln, NE.Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service.Memorials to the family for future designation.
