Michael “Mike” E. Nelson, 73, of Lincoln, NE, passed away January 14, 2024. He was born March 6, 1950 in Lincoln to Peter Eugene and Betty Lou (Matthews) Nelson.
Mike is survived by his wife, Carla; son, Pete (Dori) Nelson; daughter, Shelly Nelson; grandchildren, Jayden Nelson and Jordan Nelson; sister, Connie Kulwicki; brother, Tim (Jan) Nelson; nieces, Jenny Kulwicki, Amy Trube; sister-in-law, Marcie Fifer; and nephews, Scott J. Capps, Todd Capps, Jason (Emily) Gibson & family, Shawn (Stacey) Michkeel & family, and Nathan Sharples.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Jim Kulwicki, and nephew, Greg Kulwicki.
Memorial Service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE.
