Janice is survived by her husband of 42 years, David A. Strange, her sisters Brenda Banker (Jan) of Houston, TexasCathy Harrison (Kris) of Circle Pines, Minnesotaher sons, Thomas P. Beal (Marianna)David L. Beal (Natalie)James H. Beal (Cynthia)L. Alan Bealand her daughter, Elizabeth A. Hardygrandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins Also surviving are step-children Lynn, Rodney (Staci), Michelle, and Chris Strange. The family wishes to thank the staff at High Plains Alzheimerrsquo s Memory Care Center for their skill, kindness, and compassion for Janice while she was a resident. A memorial service will take place at Metcalf Funeral Home (245 N. 27th St.) in Lincoln on Saturday, November 18th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel The family requests memorials to St. Judersquo s Hospital for Children, the Alzheimerrsquo s Association, High Plains Alzheimerrsquo s Memory Care Center, CHI Health at Home-Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
