A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at New Victorian Suites, 225 N. 50th Street, Lincoln, NE 68504.

Everyone here has a connection to Rose. Some had the pleasure of knowing her personally. Others knew her because of her family, husband Richard, oldest son Joel, and youngest son Joseph.

Rose loved her three dogs, Princess, Lady, and Puppy, and her granddog Hobbes.

She was very excited for her family's future.  The birth of her first grandchild, Isabella Rose Ruiz, born June 30, to Joel and his wife Monique. She was proud to see Joseph Pursuing his master’s degree in special education and math. He will graduate this December and has accepted a job working for the Santee Sioux Nation school system.

Rose will be laid to rest in North Platte, Nebraska, close to her parents, just as Rose wanted.

Rose has passed. But she will forever live on in those whose knew her, and those who knew of her because of the family she was proud to have raised.
