Michael Earl McTee, 70, of Republican City Ne died Monday Oct.31st 2016 at Tabitha in Lincoln, Ne. Michael, also known as Shredder, was born April 20th, 1946 in Hastings, Ne to Earl and LaNore (Wahrer) McTee. Survivors include four daughters, Jill and Rick Cockle of Lincoln Ne, Mendie McTee of Alma Ne, Abby McTee of Council Bluffs IA, Amy McTee of Shelton, Ne, two step sons, Curt and Katie Kniss of Greely Ne, Corey and Andrea Hartman of Wilber, Ne, six grandsons, Levi Cockle and (fiancé) Josie Boden, Tanner Cockle and (wife) Amanda Cockle, Colby Cockle, all from Lincoln, Ne, Myles McTee of Alma, Ne, Grayson and Nolan Meyer of Shelton, Ne.

 

Michael McTee was the owner of McTee Contracting for years, He worked for Warner Construction as a supervisor, Him and his crew at Warners won the smooth pavement award every year he worked for Warners and he was always so proud of that. Then he was the Owner of Shredders in Republican City Ne...He had the best Ice Cream and pancakes there. He then retired and sold the shop and became a Truck driver hauling signs for Tri City Signs out of Grand Island, Ne. He traveled to 29 states delivering Freddy's and Dollar General signs all over the United States.

Our dad was also a big time fisherman and he loved traveling all over to be in fishing tournaments.

Our Dad was a Veteran and served in the United States Army.

Services will be held Saturday, November 5th at 10:30 am at United Methodist Church in Republican City, Ne.
