Lyle J. Carman, 65, of Cook, NE, passed away March 9, 2022. He was born on April 28, 1956 to Duane and Darlene (Pieper) Carman in Syracuse, NE.

Lyle worked for many years as a diesel mechanic in Lincoln, NE. He would travel the country working on semi-trucks that would go on to win many trucking competitions. In his younger years, he enjoyed going to drag car races, air shows, and on family vacations. He also had a special place in his heart for his pets throughout the years, especially his dog, Penny.

Lyle is survived by his Daughters, Nicole Carman (Jon), Tara Woltemath (Josh); Son, Lane Carman; Grandchildren, Bailey Retzlaff, Alex Woltemath, Kate Woltemath; Brothers, Garry (Sharon) Carman, Mike (Kathy) Carman, Bob (Deb) Carman; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Nephew, Allan Carman

Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, March 18, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church in Cook, NE.
