Charles W. New Sr, 86, of Lincoln, NE, passed away September 5, 2022. He was born April 24, 1936 in Conway, AR, to Irvin and Mary E. (Dodd) New.

Charles worked as a Sales Manager at Old Home Bread. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Albertson Golf League.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Lincoln, NE; son, Charles New, Jr, of Dacono, CO; daughter, Trina New; grandsons, Matthew (Effa) Hill, all of Lincoln, NE, and Philip (Casey) New, of Jamestown, TX; granddaughter, Victoria New, of Denver, CO; great grandsons, Haden Hill and Nathan Hill, both of Lincoln, NE; and brother, Otis (Margie) New, of Fayetteville, AR.

Visitation 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27^th Street, Lincoln, NE.

Graveside Service 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 6800 S. 14^th Street, Lincoln, NE.
