Ardyce B. Welch

Ardyce B. Welch, 92, of Lincoln, passed away September 26, 2017. Born August 3, 1925 in Hastings, NE to John Adam and Anna Marie Louise (Kemper) Batt. Ardyce was a microbiologist for 42 years retiring in 1989 from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Ardyce was a faithful member of St. David’s Episcopal Church for the past decade, a member of the American Society for Biology, Tissue Culture Association, Sigma Xi, and Sigma Delta Episilon (graduate women in science). She is survived by her niece, nephew and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, John Carroll Welch.

Services will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Lincoln on Saturday, Nov. 11th, at 10 a.m.  Memorials to Friendship Home or St. Monica’s Home. Condolences to Katherine Ruiz and Brian Batt.
