Myron Everette Ebel, 86, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 8, 2026. He was born on Leap Year, February 29, 1940, to Everette C. and Caroline M. (Ryba) Ebel in Columbus, NE.

Myron graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus, and attended The University of Illinois, at Peoria, IL, earning a Master of Watchmaking degree. He served in the U.S. Army specializing in helicopter mechanics at Fort hood in Texas. After serving in the military, he moved to Lincoln and worked at the Lincoln Airport for Boeing and a few years later had his own watchmaking business. He also worked for Boeing at Duncan Aviation. Myron was an avid antique collector.

Preceded in death by his partent.

He is survived by his children, son, Eric E. and daughter, Joy Lynne; granddaughters, AnaStasia Ebel and IsaBella Thomas; great grandchildren, Lord Ebel and Sunday Smith, and sister, Darlene A. (Merle) Jansen.

He will be laid to rest at the Omaha National Cemetery.
